Ok. I am geek. Just need to preface all this with that.

I'm a fan of the movie _The Labyrinth_. It is entirely too grown up for a kids' movie, and it's too childish for an adult movie. Of /course/ I have to look at fanworks for it.

Problem is - most of the fanwork is done by 15 year olds; when they bring Sarah back to the Labyrinth (as she inevitably must do....>.>...), she is either a master politician or a pliable, victim-like, ornamental queen. Considering her character, she's neither of these things, even with a few years of age. Sarah did things without thinking at ALL, and she's too headstrong to be dragged about and put into a gilded cage, AND she's too bright to be satisfied with just wandering the castle and surrounding areas EVERY day for the rest of her life.

So, thought I, what if she were brought back as a warrior type? Sarah just comes back and busts heads. I'm going with the premise that whomever solves the Labyrinth receives its throne and magic. We'll say that Jareth's last attempt at giving her her dream in exchange for love/slavery was a last ditch attempt to remain King. We'll further say that the magic wouldn't go to Sarah until she'd reached majority.

Yeah.

Bustin' heads.

Fuck yes! Finally, a strong, kick-ass woman who can play the Goblin Queen! (I saw the title and thought, could it be????)

I **love** the colours. You're so expressive in monochrome. The black on the outside creates this kind of anticipatory effect... and her position... WOW. Her body shape is beautiful (and realistic) and her hands? ENVY!!!!! Makes me wanna read Labrynth fanfics.

I wish I could gush over it with you there. I'd just stare for a few minutes and try not to drool.

I'm a little disappointed in the bg, but that's because I hate drawing bgs. I was hoping for an "OMGPower!" feel.

And only read Labyrinth fics if you're ready to slog through some crap. "Into the Rose Garden" is one of the few I can stand. Boy, I sound like a geek.

I'm going to do a Jareth one soon. Somehow.

. . . and then she gets to have mad sex with Jareth, right? :D

I love this picture, and Sarah would totally whip ass as the Goblin Queen (aslongasthatwasbookendedbylotsofsexwith Jareth). *coughcough* >.>

And yes, of course! Duh! :)

I definitely agree with you! I'd like to hope that after the entire episode with Jareth and Toby, Sarah decided to mature a bit. I love your theory, too-- about receiving the throne. She'd make a pretty badassed Queen, just like you have her here. Lookin' killer, I must say. (:
And yeah.. mad, wild sex with Jareth? Yes?

... well, not in those words, but yeah.
